Charlie Peck oversees the performance of all properties managed by
Destination Hotels & Resorts, Inc., the Denver-based hospitality subsidiary
of Lowe Enterprises. He joined Destination Hotels & Resorts in 1993 as
Managing Director of Sunriver Resort Limited Partnership in Sunriver, Oregon. In
this position he oversaw the resort, airport, real estate, utility company and
residential development activities. During Charlie’s tenure there, the
partnership completed the development of the highly-acclaimed Crosswater Golf
Community, as well as the total renovation and market repositioning of the
resort.
Previously, Charles was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and
Director of Cushman Realty Corporation, and President of Cushman Investment and
Development Corporation. As the Chief Financial Officer of WED Enterprises
prior to that, he was involved in the planning of large-scale developments with
the Walt Disney Company. Charlie holds a BA degree from Yale University and an
MBA degree in Finance from the Harvard Graduate School of Business. Between
college and business school, he served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy
for three years.
An avid mountaineer, Charlie has pursued his passion by participating in two
successful climbing expeditions on Mt. Everest as well as Mt. Cook in New
Zealand. When he is not trekking the peaks, he lives in Denver, CO with his
wife and their two children. Charlie has three older sons living in New
Zealand, San Francisco and Chicago.
