Rye Austin was a commercial real
estate broker before joining the
Orvis/Cushman & Wakefield team in 2005. His commercial real
estate experience ranges broadly from investment properties to land
sales. He is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado, New Mexico,
Wyoming, Montana, Alabama,
Georgia and
Tennessee.
Prior to beginning his real
estate career, Rye worked in research and analysis for an oil
and gas investment bank. He grew up in Colorado, spending his free time hunting upland birds and
waterfowl, and fly fishing Rocky Mountain rivers and spring creeks.
He worked his way through college guiding fly-fishing trips throughout
Colorado and
internationally. He holds a BA degree in Economics from the
University of
Colorado.
Rye and his family reside in Denver, Colorado, where sporting and outdoor
activities occupy his free time. In addition to hunting and
fishing, he enjoys telemark skiing at ski areas and in the back-country of the
West in the winter, and spends summers in the saddle of his bicycle on country
roads and single-track trails.
