Rick Kelley has worked in the field of natural resources and recycling throughout his career. At Orvis, he is responsible for the Sporting Traditions and Licensing programs. Formerly the Director of Development for PermaLife, LLC, and President of Ranger Resource, LLC, Rick has permitted and developed projects throughout North America. His experience includes the negotiation of sales of large power projects and actively managing more than 25,000 acres of forest land in the Northeast.
Rick grew up a wingshooter in Minnesota and is developing his skills as a fly fisherman. He has a MES from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, a MSF from The University of Vermont and an AB from Middlebury College. Rick is a former Selectman and Chairman of the Planning Commission in the Town of Manchester.
With two grown sons who recently completed college, Rick resides in Manchester with his wife and teenage daughter. They are an avid outdoor family pursuing hiking, skiing, canoeing, tennis and golf.
